Full offense, kid, but I don't trust your definition of 'fine'.
[ the squeak is cute and the fact toji finds it such is written all over the man's face. he manhandles cain once more to drag him in for a sound kiss on those huffy lips. ]
You're too lean. It might look great to your average idiot but you need more padding on those bones.
Anyway.
[ toji jabs his thumb up to indicate their destination. ]
Full offense taken. ( except. not entirely, because he's still really endeared by the fact that toji is worried about how much and how well he eats in the first place.
have we mentioned that already? because the novelty isn't about to wear off anytime soon.
and he's going to huff into that kiss, just so you know, even if he does give himself over to it a bit too damned easily. ) What I'm hearin' is you're not my average idiot. ( he grins, all cheek, the little bastard, and please note that he said my and not something … less indicative of where he's placed himself in your personal space bubble. )
Could say somethin' about what you think about my padding—( STOP. ) But yeah, okay. Food. Let's go.
( your sack of potatoes is ready to be delivered. )
Your ass looks great but it's bony as hell, [ toji quips ruthlessly, without missing a beat. he reaches around to give cain a squeeze for emphasis, then goes ahead and lifts him up to throw over his shoulder. he doesn't tell cain to hang on or anything of the sort, because he's not the kind of fuck up who drops people when he doesn't mean to. so, with cain securely slung over him, he grips the lowest handhold and starts to climb.
once they get to the top, he doesn't set cain down and instead gives the door a few quick, sharp warning raps before letting them in. ]
Kakashi, you got dinner guests so hope you have extra food.
[ well, at least toji still thinks to knock -- then again, he probably really doesn't want to sneak up on a ninja, right. but anyway, kakashi's been expecting them; it's a pleasant surprise to know that cain is involved with them both, and it's even more pleasant to see toji actually happy, he's not sure if the man's noticed it yet.
but anyway, kakashi's dressed down to the bare essentials, flak jacket and headband set aside for the evening. he's also actually prepared one hell of a feast -- chicken, potatoes, plenty of noodles and bread, and a store-bought pot roast as well as a whole load of sautéed vegetables.
then again, are they really going to be spending most of this evening eating...?
he gives cain's ass a fond pat when he comes over, and entirely on a whim, leans forward to kiss toji hello, too. ]
( it might not be an incredibly long way up, and he might have gotten a little too used to being carried around like this, but he still makes somewhat of a grumpy noise in the back of his throat when he isn't immediately set down — even more so when kakashi pats his ass, not out of any sort of upset but. at least set him down, first!
so maybe he'll struggle the smallest bit with the addition of: ) All the blood's goin' to my head, old man … ( until toji gets the hint and puts him down. if you wanna keep him close you're more than welcome, he's not going to say no, but he'd at least like to not start feeling all dizzy and lightheaded while you're doing it.
he's not used to seeing kakashi so dressed down — at least not unless he's in the middle of stripping down entirely, but that's neither here nor there — and the older man is sure to notice the way cain gives him a good once-over, appreciative, with a small grin. )
Didn't know there was a designated dinner time. ( he muses, and even though he remembers what he'd promised haku: ) I tend to drop in unannounced more often than I don't. ( he nudges toji with a shoulder, almost playful. ) Sure he doesn't help.
