Character Name: Cain

Canon: Starfuckerfighter
Canon Point: Midway through chapter three, on the mission into Colteron space ( that Abel volunteered them for like a bitch )
Character Age: 22
CRAU: Yes, technically, because I want to bring him back with his previous Lab memories ( Ashu said I could!! )
CRAU Explanation: I am doing this literally for the purpose of a messy reunion with some resident garbage dad assassin and I'm not ashamed to admit it
β the biggest difference in his personality is going to be due to the fact that Toji ( Toji fucking Fushiguro, of all fucking people ) got his real name out of him during only their second meeting and has done some really stupid shit like make him feel like he's actually worth something for once in his life and it's doing things to him. It's fucking him up, really, and he's never been in love ( gross ) in his life but he's pretty sure what he's feeling for that stupid old man isn't just physical attraction. even though there's a lot of that.
β I'm putting these other two in here very, very briefly even though they aren't in the game anymore, they still had an impact on him β
β Kakashi cooked for him pretty often ( sometimes not directly, Toji always worried about him eating properly and if he was at the ninja's place β or heading that way β Cain always ended up there ) and let him crash on his couch more often than not, because he kind of had a tendency to float around instead of finding his own place to haunt. Made him feel cared for, too, which was weird. stop being nice to him. It's weird.
β RexSloan Splode was the only like. baseline friend he had; they had a rocky start and Rex kicked his ass but they ended up being workout buddies and Cain would even check up on him if he holed himself up in his tree hut thing for too long without communication. Rex also let him drink his beer and taught him about roaches. True friendship right there.
IN SHORT: the bitch actually has a heart and is learning what it means to care about people instead of using them. imagine that shit.
Character Appearance: Honestly like an entire jerkface.
Powers and Abilities: This is probably going to be the shortest powers & abilities section I've ever had to write let's go.
What Did Your Character Wish For? A bottle of whiskey that magically refills itself whenever it gets close to being empty. ( Do I think he would take the wishing thing seriously, or that he would wish for something practical and / or morally good at this point in canon? The answer to both of those questions is a resounding fuck, no. )
What Potion Did They Receive? Golden
Did They Drink It? Sure the hell did.
Character Questions:
1. Who is the person your character is most bonded with from their canon? Or who is someone they miss the most? The easy answer to this question would be Deimos, a fellow fighter and someone he has more trust in than pretty much anyone else we see in this ( admittedly ) short series; he's the closest thing he has to a real friend outside of his navigator, who doesn't count as much in the beginning, but that's not the point. He relies on Deimos for info-gathering because he's good at it, and it's how he finds out certain things going on around the ship that he wouldn't otherwise.
That doesn't mean they're emotionally close, or anything. This bastard is allergic to feelings and would much rather fuck them out than talk about them, but that makes it easier to coax Abel into bed when he needs to be taken out of his own head. Which he does. A lot. And if there could be a secondary answer to this question it would be Abel, but only after chapter three and considering his canonpoint it's not entirely relevant just yet.
He also doesn't have anyone to miss, so! Growing up an orphan kind of does that to you.
2. What are they most afraid of? He would never admit to being afraid of anything outwardly, but the real answer is being vulnerable. Growing up having to fend for yourself and not having any trust in other people means you would prefer to rely on yourself and no one else, because at least you know you'll never let yourself down, and putting trust and faith in others beyond the surface level means allowing a certain level of vulnerability that he does not want to think himself capable of. Keep the walls up, keep everyone at arm's length, and no one ends up getting hurt.
3. What is their weakness? Emotionally, mentally and physically? Both emotionally and physically it would be his temper and his insistence that he doesn't need anyone. For anything. He's always used fighting as a way to get around thinking about what might be on his mind at any given time and that means never letting anyone close enough to get to know him, unless it's someone stubborn enough to drag things out of him that he would normally keep to himself. Getting close to people also opens up the potential for getting left behind, for getting forgotten, and if something like that were to happen it would just seal the deal on him convincing himself that he never should have tried in the first place.
Physically β¦ he's just a kid that grew up on Mars as a scrappy fighter. He's just as breakable as the rest of them.
4. What would make them happiest? Kicking all the alien ass he's able to and looking good while doing it, probably. That never-ending bottle of whiskey he wished for. A good fuck. A pack of cigarettes. He's really a simple bastard that needs some character development in order to be more about what you get with him at face-value.
5. Whatβs their type for a lover? He doesn't really β¦ have a type. He says at some point in the comic when looking at a line-up of navigators that he would fuck all of them ( not entirely verbatim, but you get the point ) which means he doesn't have very high standards. If it moves, he'll probably hit on it.
He does enjoy someone that can keep up with him β¦ like someone that has the same level of libido as he does. And that's a pretty big role to fill. Motherfucker's horny like all the goddamn time.

close-quarters combat; having the title of fighter means he is just that, and he might not have a lot of professional training since he just joined the starfighter program ( my guess would be around three months because there's a mention of that kind of timeframe in passing ), but coming from the colonies means he practically grew up fighting. probably more because he wanted to than anything else, but. details.
machinist training; a fighter's job means spotting incoming targets when they are on a mission with their navigator and taking care of them. basically, the boy's pretty damn good at shooting aliens in space.
bilingualism; he's fluent in both russian and english, that's a marketable skill, right.
basic common sense; you'd think this wouldn't be worth mentioning but there are several characters in this series that are just kind of β¦ blissfully oblivious to their surroundings and willfully ignorant and just β¦ kind of blindly loyal? so having someone around that just so happens to be naturally skeptical about almost everything ( and defensive to boot ) means he isn't going to let anyone use him as a doormat.
SASS & SARCASM; this is purely for my amusement but no one that has ever met this idiot would accuse him of being a nice person right off the bat, and when you tell him to use his words, they're going to be dripping with so much sarcasm you'll slip in the puddle it leaves on the floor.
